Liverpool's Star Offers Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The manager has previously declined to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” Jones added.
Jones also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the forward's comments were not designed to destabilise the squad.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a desire to win,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
