The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has considerable online presence
The young golfer can count on plenty of prominent backers when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."
Being non-professional, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.
However she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior human being. He told me to compete, relax, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation brings the sport to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.
The young star boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle company.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
